“Everything you want is on the other side of fear.” This quote comes from speaker and writer Jack Canfield, and came to me through Lori Harder. Lori, in fact, has the quote tattooed up her forearm in scrawling black letters. The simple but poignant statement stayed with me ever since the day I heard it come from Lori’s mouth, and while at first it may seem intimidating, it’s actually a statement of encouragement. Fear flares up inside of us for a reason. No one has ever achieved their soul-fulfilling and wildest dreams without having to hop an obstacle on the way. This doesn’t mean that if you don’t face your biggest fear tomorrow that you are inefficient, or incapable of achieving your dreams. “Everything you want is on the other side of fear.” So take a small step today, and another tomorrow.
