Handmade by God

For you created my innermost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me
were written in your book before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand
—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalms 139:13-18

Is that not the most beautiful scripture you have ever read? Please stop and meditate on these words today from the Lord. Read them over and over, slowly, repeat them, inscribe them on your heart by memorizing them. Let the beauty of it all sink in! What does this scripture mean to you? I am going to break it apart and tell you what it means to me, not to influence you and how God speaks to you, but more to show you how God is speaking to me through this and to assure you that He LOVES US so deeply. God is SOOOOO amazing to me in all of His words.

For YOU created my inner most being;

This tells me that I am not an accident. He took the time out of His ridiculously busy schedule to make me with His very own hands. He first started with my delicate innermost being; my heart, my thoughts, my spirit, which make up my soul. All the things inside that are without physical substance, He created them first. I’d imagine it was hard to wrestle down my spirit, as its a wild and restless one! But, nothing is too hard for God. In my mind, our souls are like tiny seeds of bright and blinding light (like the glowing speck of Fantasia at the end of the Never Ending Story movie). He alone created the spark inside of me that would one day become a massive light in this world. He did that for every single one of us– each of our lights are meant to shine in the world, each in its own way. For where there is light, there can be no darkness.

YOU knit me together in my mother’s womb.

After he created MY crazy, wild, uncontainable-by-anyone-but-Him spirit, mind, and heart, He knit them together to create my soul. Then He started to mold me, like clay, in my mother’s womb. He hand-formed the tiny fingers that would one day play piano and guitar, and would enable me to eventually help me become a creative soul and design. He formed each of my legs that would learn to walk, run, climb and ride horses 12 hours a day from for the next 20 years. He very carefully molded my heart– I’d imagine that was like creating dynamite– as it’s always ready to burst! I believe He molded my heart bigger than most, as He knew that I would need it to fulfill my purpose to love the world so passionately, then took the care to fill it overflowing with His Love knowing that no one could fill it as He could. He molded my brain to defy all odds of learning while knowing how many odds would be against me. He made me so strong, so willing to learn and so darned curious! He gave me the wisdom to understand things that I couldn’t have without Him. He made my eyes green and wide, and to see with full love and compassion for every living thing on this planet, to be able to look at others in understanding and see them as He sees them– not in disgust or judging, but in love, true love, with the knowledge that everyone is doing the best they can with what they have been given, told, or offered. He gave me the amazing gift of encouragement to not only see the best in everyone but to also help them see it in themselves, and the courage and strength and tools to help them bring the best out in themselves. And  he poured into my spirit the amazing gift of gentleness to tame even the wildest beast; animals & humans alike and a spirit of compassion to let everyone know they are safe in my care.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Ah, this verse makes me well up with tears every time. I have been told many things by many people, as each of us have. The ‘stories’ that stick in us like knives to the heart. But God himself says differently, and frankly He is the only one we should listen to. The people of this world who tell you that you are anything less than “fearfully and wonderfully made” are fighting a war within themselves. How they are treating you is a direct reflection of their own wars inside. Don’t get angry with them– instead forgive them and show mercy, grace and compassion, for the war inside of them is far greater than we can understand. Love them and know that they are ALSO fearfully and wonderfully made by God Himself. We can only try to help them find their own strengths to win the war inside, by offering support, tools, prayers, love.

As we recognize the war within us all, we help others to see it as well. My own personal war is the reflection I see of myself, in the stories that were pounded into my mind by others, as a child and still as an adult which I in turn tell myself in my own mirror of war. But, God knows who I truly am on the inside. He knows my battles. He also knows my wins and losses. He knows the things I fight with every day. He knows how certain people continually make me feel, good or bad. He understands my wars and the beautiful thing is that I am not alone in these wars. I PRAISE HIM BECAUSE I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE. I AM THE ONLY ME THERE IS, AND SO IT IS MY DUTY TO ROCK BEING ME BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE COULD.

Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Anything less than giving my 100% at loving, accepting and being grateful that I am me, is a direct insult to the Masterpiece that God Himself created. I wouldn’t dare want to insult the Lords handiwork.. would you?
Let’s start looking at all the people of the world, as if we are in God’s live museum. Each person is His own artwork… Look at His masterpieces with the same love God did as he was creating us. Look how he shaped each arm, elbow, and eyebrow. Learn to appreciate each as the masterpieces they truly are. Appreciate the curves, the colors, the beauty, the amazing fact that God molded each of us, one by one, BY HAND… He could have easily 3D printed us and not cared, but He didn’t. He even delicately placed each of our lights inside of us.

Start looking for each person’s light, as that is truly where it all began. Each or lights is as if God pinched off a part of Himself and placed it inside to make the core of us all. That is the one thing science can’t replicate–soul. I believe God created that first and put it in the very, very inside of us to protect it the most. It is the most important part, and it is straight from Him.

Are we protecting it as well? Are we giving it the same love and compassion as God gave when He knitted it and formed it and gave it as the first gift to us and for each of us alone? To me it is the thing that we should be protecting the most. It is a gift that I am to NURTURE, PROTECT AND GROW.

Maybe it’s time to unbury our lights (our soul) with the junk we have hoarded inside that have almost choked it out. It will never go completely out, as it is of God. People have to work really hard to keep their lights small, as they are naturally made to shine. What are we putting in that makes it grow bright or dim? We each know the answers in our own hearts. It’s simple: putting dark things in darkens our light, putting light things gives it life and helps it grow.

The fuel for each of our lights, may be different according to our own individual needs, but, I feel that universally, in prayer, meditation, nature, scripture, laughter, lies the fuel for our lights to burn brightly. These are gifts that God put in the world and instilled in each one of us to continually shine within, He has been refueling our lights without us even knowing. Thanks God!

Imagine our light as a seed that needs help to grow, and as it grows the results are amazing! The tiniest of seeds, become the most majestic fruit bearing trees. The fruits your seeds bear are the fruits of your spirit: love, joy, peace, happiness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, patience, self-control and more. As the tree grows, the fruits become bigger, the limbs become stronger and it gets easier and easier to stand tall in any storm.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I need to do all I can to grow the light inside of me, to give it all it needs to help me produce good fruit into this world, and to be strong to keep me steady in any upcoming storms. I will also be looking at others and myself in love as well, for we are all God’s Masterpieces. And God don’t make no junk!

Hello beautiful souls. I'm Angielee, creator of BetterMeTribe. I'm a heart-first adventuring healer of souls. My calling is to heal the soul of the world by healing and filling one heart's cup at a time. I will teach you how to heal, fill, and overflow your own love's cup into the world, starting with the love cup inside of you. Healing and filling every area of your life so that you can overflow love into, onto, and all over others. A better world begins inside of each of us. And that is where BetterMeTribe Begins. I have had the privilege of unlocking and unblocking hearts, healing, and filling souls with the overflow method on stages big and small, in over 13 different countries on three different continents and 58 worldwide humanitarian aid mission trips. I have written eight books, three children's books that are launching soon, and this inspirational blog with over 900 heart healing posts with 50k Tribe members. I have been coaching teens and adults, one-on-one, families, groups, hosting, and speaking at events for over 20 years. But my life wasn't always like this. Through terrible traumas and a childhood that would make Stephen King have nightmares, I had to go through massive amounts of healing, forgiveness, and transformation myself. Overcoming those wounds has helped me to be able to be the best resource possible for helping others heal and use my own experiences and the experiences of many others to help as many as possible. There isn't much that someone can share with me that I have not been through, or helped someone else through. Being a natural problem solver and a deep empath, I find and pull out your strengths to become your best self. I teach you how to flow and grow through things so that you can become the beautiful being of overflow that you too were meant to be. Rising from the ashes and turning your life of pain into a life of beauty. I show people how to be love in all situations, to themselves, to others, and ultimately to the world, how to love the unlovely, even, and especially when that unlovely is us. I teach fun tools and tricks to help fill life's cup so that you are able to help others in a much bigger way than you ever thought imaginable. We can't help the sick, broken, or poor by being one of them. It is time to stop trying to serve from an empty cup running on empty fumes and overflow your own magical goodness into the world in a way that only you can. The world needs you. You need you. I need you. You are worthy of so much more than you even know, and I am here to help bring out that best self in you: transforming your life, healing one hole in your heart's cup at a time. Whatever your goal or obstacle is, I will help you flow like water through it, over it, or around it to help your soul become the majestic ocean, it is meant to be. Open your heart and allow me to pour into you, to teach you methods to keep your cup full so that you can start pouring better things into others. This is what Overflowing is all about. Allow me to overflow my love into you. Start with the search bar, search for the thing you need the most, and read those posts. Take the actions inside of them and apply them to your life. If you would like someone on one time with me, to talk deep heart to heart stuff, shoot me an email at angie@bettermetribe.com, and let's have a talk. I'm here for you. Your heart matters to me and I am here to heal it.
