Who truly knows you?

Never-Alone-web

GOD, investigate my life;
get all the facts firsthand.
I’m an open book to you;
even from a distance,
you know what I’m thinking.

You know when I leave and when I get back;
I’m never out of your sight.
You know everything I’m going to say
before I start the first sentence.

I look behind me and you’re there,
then up ahead and you’re there, too—
your reassuring presence, coming and going.
This is too much, too wonderful—
I can’t take it all in!

~Psalms 139:1-6 The Message

Tell me who knows us inside like God? No one. Not our best friends, our spouse, our children. People see in us what we allow them to, and even then only what they want to. Shoot, we don’t even fully know ourselves.

I hear so many people say things like – “I feel so alone! No one even knows who I am,” I feel like that sometimes myself as well. We are all so many things wrapped into one, how do we describe ourselves? Not to mention we are so many different things to so many different people all at the same time!

But God knows us, He knows every bit of us. He knows our every thought, every intention, every action, every reaction— scary huh…nahh, it’s beautiful– we don’t ever have to “explain” our actions to Him, He already knows, he knows our hearts.

He also knows how busy we are, and how exhausted we become trying todo everything and save the world all by ourselves.  He is probably shaking His head at us saying something like…

“You know guys… I can take that burden from you, I can do help you fix the problem much better  than you can alone. Give me your troubles, I can stop the pain, the struggle, I can see things that you can not see Just give it to me, and lay in my arms and rest. I’m right here, patiently waiting for you to give it up, and let it go. When you’re ready to let me help, I’m right here.” ~God

He is just standing there, patiently with His hand stretched out to us waiting for us to take it. He is there waiting to catch us when we stumble and fall. He is pushing the right things in our paths, and rolling the wrong things out. He is always knowing what we need, and helping us figure things out, giving us clues, and allowing us to do it instead of doing it for us so that we learn the lesson, we take the win and helping us to feel good, like we accomplished something when it was Him all along. Yes he could have just done it all for us, but then we wouldn’t grow at all. It reminds me of the story of the butterfly.

The Story of the 🦋 Butterfly

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to squeeze its body through the tiny hole. Then it stopped, as if it couldn’t go further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bits of cocoon. The butterfly emerged easily but it had a swollen body and shriveled wings. The man continued to watch it, expecting that any minute the wings would enlarge and expand enough to support the body. Neither happened! In fact the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around. It was never able to fly. What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand: The restricting cocoon and the struggle required by the butterfly to get through the opening was a way of forcing the fluid from the body into the wings so that it would be ready for flight once that was achieved. Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. Going through life with no obstacles would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been and we would never be able to fly!

Every day we are discovering something new about us, and about others.

My husband sees me as a hard worker, a go-getter, and the magic elf that somehow produces all his needs and wants before he knows he needs or wants them. My kids see me as a crazy busy mom, trying to hold it all together, and also as a magic elf that provides all their needs. They all try to not bug me unnecessarily when I’m working, or writing, but they always know when I’m always ready for some fun.

My friends see me as an adventure, that no matter what we get into there will be tons of laughter and memories made.

I see me as someone who loves others, someone who has never met a stranger, who loves everyone she meets, a dreamer, a go getter, a crazy talented multitasker, a massively obnoxious overachiever, a world changer (I’ve got the cape and all) and I also try to always be an example of God’s love and kindness to all. Strangers may see me as crazy, funny or a scattered person…  I don’t know what they see.

Everything we see in others is a reflection of something we see inside ourselves..

You guys see me pouring my heart out each week writing to you. I never planned any of it, I prayed for God to fill my cup and now it is overflowing out of me, so I feel the overwhelming need to share my own lessons that I am learning with all of you! I believe I am not the only one going through all the things I’m going through. I believe my growth journey is the same growth journey as many others, no one is truly alone in anything.

Our journey’s help us gain wisdom
and that wisdom is meant to be shared.

You see,  God has given each of us amazing talents, gifts and powers that we may have not even seen, or been brave enough to try. Maybe we know some of our gifts and have been too afraid to share them with the world. Get out there and share them so that they can be multiplied! He is waiting for us to discover, share and use our gifts so that he can give us more! Using them to make the world a better place, gives others permission to break out their gifts and do the same! God is probably up there like an eager parent-in-waiting who has set a gift out for a child to find. Start looking around. There are so many amazing gifts  out there waiting to be discovered by YOU!

He is so good to us and we don’t even know it. He is everywhere, He is behind us to push us along, in front of us to catch us when we stumble, beside us when we take the wrong path, edging us back to the correct one.

He deserves the glory in everything. There is no telling what all He protects us from that we have no idea about. How many wrecks he helps us avoid, in cars and in life. He knows our hearts in all that we do, I really feel that when our hearts are right and set out with good intentions for ourselves and/or others, He helps us the entire way.

And when our hearts are set on bad things, revenge or hate that he also botches our plans for our own protection! He knows what that road leads to, He knows that it will not make us feel better, but instead hurt us worse.  He cares for us more than we could ever imagine. Think of how much we care for our kids, family members or pets. We guide them, we teach them, we protect them from danger, even from themselves. We pick up a crawling bundle of joy and turn them the other way when they are near a cliff. They don’t have a clue why we have done that, they just keep moving forward. God does the same for us.

Even if your God is different than mine, I’m sure you feel them the same. That they love you and want to take care of you. Whomever your creator or source of life and inspiration is to you, you feel the love and care too. But, What if… it’s all the same God? What if people just interpreted Him differently according to whatever they were going through at the time He showed himself to them. What if Where were no religious books or teachers, How would you describe God and all he has done in all His glory to someone else? What if the right version was out there but, somewhere along the way, the humans version of God got lost in translation, like the telephone game. What if all “religions” have part of truth in them. and mushed together, and filtered out was the whole truth? You know in your heart what is true and what is not. Even better than anyone has taught you. It’s deeply rooted within. If you have something about your religion or faith that doesn’t sit right, I ask you to challenge it.

The real truth does not need defending.

Find the truth, your truth, find the version that feels right to you. It is the one for you. The one that is 100% truth, and you know it in your very being. Find the one that speaks truth and lights up your soul. Allow it to guide you through this amazing world in the most beautiful ways.

Walk away from anything that tell you to harm others, that is not of God, but of man and his own poisonous heart. The right one will be the one that tells you to LOVE FULLY, and to LOVE everyone, Including yourself.

I challenge everyone to figure out your beliefs on your own, to know why you believe what you do, how and why it makes you feel the way you do, and to seek truth in all things. Not hearsay, actual real truth, which I know, seems to be fleeting in a world  of fake news, untrue memes and the ability to find anything on the internet to supporting whatever version of any wild idea you want to know. Go ahead, google the wildest possible idea you can think of,  and you will find something with “supporting evidence” to back up your claim.

Instead of searching and believing someone else’s opinion, I really challenge you all to FIND YOUR TRUTH! Go back to the beginning, find facts. Dig Deep and decide who you are, who is the source that gave you life, who your spirit serves, who is the True God in your life. Then and only then will you find your foundation to stand on. And in whatever translation that you can understand, as I feel they are all correct.

The thing about different versions or translations is…. (and this is my opinion, so find your own truth…)
Not everyone can understand the languages of old times. But I choose to believe that God still inspired the other versions. I believe that if someone tried to put something sneaky in there that He would have taken care of it. He is all mighty and powerful God and nothing slips by Him. I also believe that if a less “proper” version reaches someone that I can not reach, well… It’s a win for all, isn’t it? Here is the NKJV of the same verses from the top. Equally beautiful. Equally Powerful. Equally Truth.

Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
You have hedged me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is high, I cannot attain it.

Psalms 139:1-6 NKJV

I will embrace all things, and All people, in love. Knowing Gods plans are so much bigger and more awesome than mine. I will never be putting God in a box nor his people or His ways in a cookie cutter. I see people do that all the time and it worries me… there is a fine line where people allow religion to overpower relationship, and that is a very dangerous place to be in.

How great are His wonders, NONE CAN FATHOM! We all must be careful to not make God as small as our minds and to stop trying to do Gods job. We are not put here to control others and what they are or aren’t doing… we should be too busy trying to work on ourselves, to judge anyone else. We can not control what anyone else is doing, saying, wearing or acting, nor are we are not supposed to. We are to look at, and within ourselves, and when we find anything unpleasant to God’s eyes we take care of it. We look at ourselves with love, in love and become love for ourselves and for others. We are to look upon ourselves and others through God’s eyes and just love, not judge, love. For all they are and are not, just as God loves us for all we are and all we are not. That is it. Work on your own house. Take care of your own plank, and careful not to be worried about another’s tiny sawdust.

We are ALL fearfully and wonderfully made. And as stated the previous post… God don’t make no junk. So the next time your “worried” about someone doing right or wrong according to your standards… in or out of Gods Kingdom, look within instead– what am I doing right or wrong in this situation. How can I handle this the same kind and loving manner that God so freely shows us every day with unending His Grace.   You are only in charge of your actions, reactions, and choices. Choose to love. Every time.  Let God take care of all that is within each of us. We must seek Him in ALL things. And know that everyone is just trying to do the best they can, He can see everyone’s thoughts, heart and true intentions, where we can not.

So remove judgment from your plate. Take that unending, unrelenting burden off of your shoulders, it is not yours to bear. Pray today for God to help you only see the hearts of others, in love. It will ROCK your world. Love in Grace and you will be filled with a peace like no other. I Love you all <3

Hello beautiful souls. I'm Angielee, creator of BetterMeTribe. I'm a heart-first adventuring healer of souls. My calling is to heal the soul of the world by healing and filling one heart's cup at a time. I will teach you how to heal, fill, and overflow your own love's cup into the world, starting with the love cup inside of you. Healing and filling every area of your life so that you can overflow love into, onto, and all over others. A better world begins inside of each of us. And that is where BetterMeTribe Begins. I have had the privilege of unlocking and unblocking hearts, healing, and filling souls with the overflow method on stages big and small, in over 13 different countries on three different continents and 58 worldwide humanitarian aid mission trips. I have written eight books, three children's books that are launching soon, and this inspirational blog with over 900 heart healing posts with 50k Tribe members. I have been coaching teens and adults, one-on-one, families, groups, hosting, and speaking at events for over 20 years. But my life wasn't always like this. Through terrible traumas and a childhood that would make Stephen King have nightmares, I had to go through massive amounts of healing, forgiveness, and transformation myself. Overcoming those wounds has helped me to be able to be the best resource possible for helping others heal and use my own experiences and the experiences of many others to help as many as possible. There isn't much that someone can share with me that I have not been through, or helped someone else through. Being a natural problem solver and a deep empath, I find and pull out your strengths to become your best self. I teach you how to flow and grow through things so that you can become the beautiful being of overflow that you too were meant to be. Rising from the ashes and turning your life of pain into a life of beauty. I show people how to be love in all situations, to themselves, to others, and ultimately to the world, how to love the unlovely, even, and especially when that unlovely is us. I teach fun tools and tricks to help fill life's cup so that you are able to help others in a much bigger way than you ever thought imaginable. We can't help the sick, broken, or poor by being one of them. It is time to stop trying to serve from an empty cup running on empty fumes and overflow your own magical goodness into the world in a way that only you can. The world needs you. You need you. I need you. You are worthy of so much more than you even know, and I am here to help bring out that best self in you: transforming your life, healing one hole in your heart's cup at a time. Whatever your goal or obstacle is, I will help you flow like water through it, over it, or around it to help your soul become the majestic ocean, it is meant to be. Open your heart and allow me to pour into you, to teach you methods to keep your cup full so that you can start pouring better things into others. This is what Overflowing is all about. Allow me to overflow my love into you. Start with the search bar, search for the thing you need the most, and read those posts. Take the actions inside of them and apply them to your life. If you would like someone on one time with me, to talk deep heart to heart stuff, shoot me an email at angie@bettermetribe.com, and let's have a talk. I'm here for you. Your heart matters to me and I am here to heal it.
